Joey Schlager is the founder and Principal Broker of Pirch Real Estate, LLC and has lived his entire life in Richmond. He enlisted and served in The United States Marine Corps right after graduating High School in Chesterfield County. He served 8 full years in the Marine Corps before joining the local police force in Richmond. He served with total dedication as a Police Officer for 14 years and has put his Discipline, Integrity and Detailed Hard Work to good use in the Greater Richmond Housing Market.
Having served his community as a Volunteer Police Officer (after leaving for 14 years) and a regular donor to the Fisher House & Charities also helped forge close ties between Joey and the local residents. It is this passion for helping people that drives his excellence in customer care and personal service. His associates recognize him as a motivational personality in the workforce, bringing positive encouragement to his team and those around him.

When Joey is taking a break from the hectic world of the real estate industry, you can find him spending quality time with his wife and daughter. They spend most of their free time fishing and boating in local waters and the Chesapeake Bay even though most claim that Joey really doesn’t catch much of anything most of the time. Recently, Joey and his daughter were certified as "Open Water Divers". Family vacations in the future will have a different twist :).
Michelle Schlager is a lifelong resident of the Richmond area. She studied marketing and quantitative analysis at George Mason University and proceeded to work in the banking and financing fields. Continuing her eduction, Michelle pursued her MBA while working full time, ultimately landing at Dominion Resources. In an effort to devote more time to her family, she left Dominion and joined Joey in the real estate business. Michelle, while licensed, works behind the scenes in Pirch Real Estate to ensure smooth and positive experiences for our clients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and running.
Prior to entering the work force full time, Sheila earned a Business of Science degree in Mass Communications from VCU. Sheila began her professional life with an 18 year tenure at Circuit City’s corporate offices. Over the course of time, it became evident that a career in real estate was a natural fit for her personality, work ethic and drive. Sheila has consistently ranked in the top 1% of Realtors across the nation which shows her dedication to her clients and finding them the perfect home.
When she isn’t working with clients, you can find her at her son’s baseball games or spending time with her family and friends. She has also enjoyed volunteer efforts with Habitat of Humanity and her church.
Originally from Goochland, Sheila lives in Hanover with her husband and son.
Eddy Smith brings his experience as a career law enforcement officer, United States Marine and
longtime resident of the Richmond area to PIRCH Real Estate. Prior to his real estate career Eddy served
the community in all aspects of law enforcement. His ability to communicate with people, coupled with
his desire to serve, created the natural transition into the field of real estate. As a member of the PIRCH
Team, Eddy utilizes his vast knowledge of the greater Richmond area to locate the perfect home for his
clients. He is willing to take time with his clients, whether buying or selling their homes, to explain all
options and to skillfully negotiate on their behalf. Eddy understands the significance and stress that real
estate transactions have in the lives of people. Whether buying a home for the first time, downsizing
from an existing home or looking for an investment property; he works tirelessly to protect his clients’
interests, reduce their stress and satisfy their desires.
Eddy has two sons, who he couldn’t be prouder of, they followed in his footsteps of public
service and are local professional firefighters. Eddy is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign
Wars. When he’s not working Eddy enjoys attending church in Mechanicsville and fitness related
activities. He is an avid “Crossfitter” and loves training for (OCR) obstacle course racing competitions.
He also takes full advantage of all that central Virginia has to offer from day trips to Virginia Beach for
surf fishing to hiking the trails of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
